MY NOVEL ABOUT JESUS’ FAMILY
RECOGNIZED BY INDIE BOOK AWARDS
I’m honored to receive the medal shown at left for MY BROTHER’S KEEPER.
It indicates that my novel about the family of Jesus was listed as a finalist in the Religious Fiction competition held by the Next Generation Indie Book Awards, the largest not-for-profit awards program for independent authors and publishers.
Please let me express my sincerest thanks to the judges — many of whom are distinguished figures in the publishing industry — for their acknowledgment of my book’s unconventional retelling of the Christian story.
This is a noteworthy endorsement, considering the many thousands of titles submitted from around the world. And I’m honored.
Last year, MY BROTHER’S KEEPER won the Catholic Arts and Letters Award, for adult fiction, from the Catholic Writers Guild.

John says
Congratulations.
By the way, the unconventional parts were instructive and fun. Your expanded version of Pontius Pilate’s involvement gave this figure more substance than the Sunday school version I was taught.
Al says
Congratulations Bill, ingenious concept, exceptional execution.
Well earned recognition.
